For three days, June 12 to 14, hundreds of artists will perform, exhibit and entertain for thousands of visitors on Governors Island. FIGMENT is an annual participatory arts event with artwork in every medium, from installation to performance to music to games and many things in between. Participation is open to any artist who would like to share their work, and visitors of all ages and interests are invited to share in these creations.  You can view our Event Map or Project/Artist listings in advance of the event.

Complementing this weekend are two season-long projects: an artistically imagined mini golf course and a sculpture garden, both of which will run from late May through mid-October.

*Please note: Closing times listed are the time of the last ferry back to Manhattan. We highly recommend taking an earlier ferry to avoid overcrowding the last ferry.
