Submissions have now closed for FIGMENT 2009!  Please check back soon to see a list of artists and projects.  In the meanwhile, if you have any immediate questions about submissions or the curatorial process, please email curatorial@figmentnyc.org.

Even though submissions are now closed, you are still welcome to bring your project to FIGMENT, as long as it meets the following criteria:

1. Can be carried onto the ferry without a vehicle

2. Does not require power

3. Does not require being mapped or appearing on the FIGMENT daily schedule

4. Does not involve compressed gas or any other dangerous material

5. Does not involve serving food or drink

6. Does not require staking into the ground

So, a light small sculpture that you can carry yourself is fine, as is bringing your musical instrument to play, or bringing a game that you would like other participants to play with you. But any project that does not fit the criteria listed above will be turned away at this point.

Please bear in mind that there is no commercial activity of any kind allowed at FIGMENT, including selling art, asking for donations, busking, or handing out flyers.
